My first paper quilling project!! I'm so excited about this and so happy with the way it came out. I don't have a great camera though, so the picture is left wanting, BUT hopefully I can borrow my brother's REALLY NICE EXPENSIVE camera and take some better pics soon. I just wanted to get this in before the deadline.
This project took at least 10 hours of work, I'm not sure...I found paper quilling fairly easy to pick up, but I didn't get too fancy with all the different quilling shapes, just variations of the scroll. I got lots of inspiration on this website www.artyulia.com

There's only a few things I'd self-critique myself on: 1.
the colored stips of paper I used are ever-so-slightly bigger than the white strips. 2.
I had to crop the photo a bit because the finished piece is not very well centered, so you're missing about an inch off the left side! 3.
I did my glueing on regular drawing paper and not cardstock (newbie mistake) so the paper is a little wavy now.
