This is one of those infinty scarves. It was a little tedious and time consuming, but I really love the end result! This one is a present, but I'm definitely making another one for myself, if I can find the time...and maybe one with rainbow colored hearts!

This is lovely! I have seen pictures of this scarf pop up in several places and have wanted to give it a go. The end result is pretty amazing. :)

Thanks! Yeah, it was a little tedious, but totally worth it for sure.

niiiice! :D

how did you do it? hearts first and then the rest? and what kind of stitch is the edge?

and as I'm full of questions today: is an infinity scarf the same as a moebius scarf?

thanks!

Yes, each heart is made then joined to the next, then the top edge of stitches around, then the bottom. The edge looks like a reverse single crochet but it was just some yarn threaded through the last row of stitches

yes, I think they are the same. Maybe a moebius scarf is twisted in the middle sometimes? This is just a loop, so I could crochet the top and bottom stitches in rounds.

re: edge
*blinks* so easy. didn't even think of that. :D

re: moebius
that twist is why I asked. I imagine it's difficult enough to join the hearts without twisting them accidentally. but twisting them on purpose and getting it right... I'd probably confuse myself with that. :giggle:

thanks for explaining. :)

I actually did twist them up the first time! I had to take apart the last heart and make sure it was all straight. :bucktooth:
