Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Crochet

This is my second version of the Princess Jasmine crown. I never submitted the first because it was not great. I like this one better, but I'm still not sure....

It's really hard to make yarn look like a jewel! I used all sparkly yarns, but that's kinda hard to tell from the photo. I just made the shapes to look like the reflections of the way they show the crown in the movie. But I really want it be recognizable without people just thinking it's a weird headband.

Please let me know what you think of it! Do you like the color variations? Do you think one solid color would look better since the yarn is sparkly anyway?
